Bishop Museum with toddlers: interactive Hawaiian culture and space shows
The Bishop Museum balances Hawaiian culture with hands-on science. Toddlers love the lava demonstrations, planetarium cartoons and open lawns for running.
Background-checked nannies for families staying in Waikiki, at Ko Olina or on the North Shore. Your nanny comes to your hotel, resort or rental, and you meet them on a video call before you fly.

Oahu's hotels cluster in Waikiki, with resorts at Ko Olina on the west coast and vacation rentals along the North Shore and the windward side. Wherever you stay, your nanny comes to you at the time you book, already knowing your children's names, ages and routines from your request and your Meet & Greet call.
Hawaii is a long flight from almost anywhere, and the first days often start before sunrise. A morning booking means someone is there for the kids while you sleep in, or while you hike Diamond Head before it gets hot.
Sunset is the main event on Oahu: dinner on a lanai in Waikiki, a drink as the sun drops into the ocean at Ko Olina, or a luau with music and hula. Our honest guide to luaus with small children explains why under-threes are usually happier skipping the show, which makes a luau night a good one to book a sitter for.
Book your nanny from late afternoon so you can hand over before you leave, and message them in your WhatsApp group if the evening runs long: extra hours are invoiced after the service.
Oahu's big family days are mostly outdoors: snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, the Honolulu Zoo and Kapiolani Park, Pearl Harbor, and the drive up to the North Shore. Our guides cover Hanauma Bay's rules for families, Pearl Harbor with school-age kids, the Bishop Museum and what to do when it rains.
There's no Disney-style theme park on the island, but Sea Life Park, the Wet'n'Wild water park in Kapolei and the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie all make full days. A nanny can come along to help with a toddler while you look after the older kids, or stay behind with a napping baby. Agree beforehand how their admission and meals are covered.
Send us your dates, where you're staying and your children's ages. We reply within 24–48 hours, or within 4 hours for last-minute requests, with nanny profiles picked for your family, each with a bio and an intro video.
Choose a nanny and meet them on a video call. One Meet & Greet is included, and each extra interview is $10. Once your schedule is set, we send the service agreement and invoice, and a WhatsApp group with your nanny opens about 24 hours before the first booking. See every step.
Hawaii is busiest over the winter holidays, spring break and summer, so send your dates at least 14 days ahead, and earlier for those weeks. If you're island-hopping to Maui or Kauai as well, tell us in the same request.
Our pricing page publishes hourly rates for Japan and Taiwan. For Oahu, your nanny's hourly rate is set out in your quote, which is confirmed in writing before any payment. As everywhere, it depends on the number of children and on the nanny's experience, availability and qualifications.
The one-time $49.99 booking fee works the same way as everywhere we operate: it's charged once per country, covers your whole stay in Hawaii, and is refunded in full if we can't match you. One Meet & Greet video call is included. You pay in USD, by Zelle or by card through Stripe, which adds a processing fee.
These nannies are based on Oahu. Each profile shows the languages they speak, what they specialize in and a short note in their own words. If someone stands out, mention them in your request.
