“Aloha! I'm Ellen, a nurturing and conscientious childcare provider living in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. I have over 20 years of experience directly caring for children and decades of teaching experience ranging from small children to adults. I have taught college level science classes, been an educator at an all-outdoor forest kindergarten, developed social and emotional intelligence curricula for young adults, and worked with special needs populations of all ages. My diverse background allows me to tailor my interaction style to expertly match the specific needs of each family. I bring a nurturing warmth to every child I care for, while gently supporting their natural curiosity and playful spirits. I am a native English speaker and have taught English abroad. I am semi-fluent in French, having lived in Senegal, West Africa as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer.”
